$LINK caught my attention after Standard Chartered put a $200 target on it for 2030.
That sounds crazy at first, but their idea is based on something worth watching. If RWA and DeFi continue growing, the demand for reliable blockchain data could grow with them.
Chainlink already has a strong position, and that gives the project a big advantage.
But I would not call the outcome guaranteed.
Competition is getting stronger. Chainlink currently secures around $34.4B, while Chronicle is already around $7.36B.
So for $LINK to reach $200, Chainlink needs to keep its lead while the market grows.
Right now, I am watching $8.47 for strength.
If LINK holds above it, things could start looking better.
Lose $8.31, the 50 EMA, and the setup becomes much less convincing.
The long term story is interesting. Now the question is whether Chainlink can stay on top.
