📊 BTC NEAR $65K: WHAT SHOULD TRADERS WATCH?

⏱️ August 8, 2026 — 14:56 WAT
$BTC ≈ $65,000

The important question isn't “Will BTC go up?”

It's: What must BTC prove before the next move?

🔴 Resistance

BTC is facing resistance around $65,200–$65,400.

A real breakout isn't just a quick move above resistance. Ideally, price should:

• Break above it
• Close above it
• Retest it successfully as support

🟢 Support

Watch $64,800–$64,200.

If buyers defend this zone, the short-term recovery remains healthier.

A break below $64,200 would weaken the bullish structure.

📚 LESSON: FUNDING RATE

Binance's BTCUSDT perpetual funding is currently positive.

Positive funding generally means longs are paying shorts.

But don't make this mistake:

❌ Positive funding = BTC must rise.

Wrong.

If too many traders become heavily long, the market can become vulnerable to a long squeeze.

Funding should therefore be combined with:

• Price structure
• Volume
• Open interest
• Support/resistance

Two scenarios

🟢 Bullish: BTC breaks $65,400 and holds it on a retest.

🔴 Bearish: BTC rejects the resistance and loses $64,800, with $64,200 becoming the key level to defend.

KEY LESSON

Don't trade predictions.

Trade confirmation.

Before entering, know what confirms your idea and exactly where it becomes invalid.

Which level matters more to you right now: $65,400 resistance or $64,200 support?
