Was sitting around last night thinking… what if I actually put some bStocks into DeFi instead of just holding them?

Like, buy a bit of NVDAB or TSLAB and instead of letting them sit there, throw them into a lending protocol or a liquidity pool on BNB Chain. Sounds kinda weird — stocks that also earn yield in DeFi. But they’re just regular BEP-20 tokens, so technically it should work.

Did some rough math. Say you’ve got $2000 in NVDAB.

If you just hold — it moves with NVIDIA, that’s it.

But if you stick it in something like Venus or whatever at 6-8% APY, you’re looking at an extra $120-160 a year on top. Not life-changing, but it’s free money sitting on top of the stock move.

Other option is providing liquidity. APYs look juicier sometimes, but then you’re dealing with impermanent loss, especially with something as spicy as TSLAB or SPCXB.

Wild part is you still keep the exposure to the actual company. NVIDIA pumps — you’re up. And you’re getting paid a bit extra while waiting. Only question is how stable these rates actually are right now and if people are already doing this for real.

Anyone here already tried throwing bStocks into DeFi? Or is everyone still just holding them like regular stocks?
