Instead, I started asking a different question.
What has Bitcoin refused to become for the last 17 years?
That question led me down a completely different path.
Most systems evolve by adding new assumptions.
Bitcoin evolved by protecting the assumptions it already had.
The more I explored @BabylonLabs_io , the more I realized the most interesting challenge isn't making Bitcoin more powerful.
It's making Bitcoin useful without asking it to compromise the qualities that made it valuable in the first place.
That changes how I think about infrastructure.
Good infrastructure doesn't compete with the foundation.
It respects it.
Maybe the next era of crypto won't be defined by who builds the biggest ecosystem.
Maybe it'll be defined by who can build the most around Bitcoin while asking the least from Bitcoin.
That's the idea I've been thinking about today.
