An open note to every crypto trader.
I don't know what strategy you're using, but one thing I've noticed lately is that the market isn't rewarding trades the way it used to a few months ago.
Have you noticed how so many high-probability setups still end in a stop loss? Everything lines up perfectly, yet the trade fails.
Another thing I've observed is that before getting stopped out, price often moves in your favor first. In the past, many trades would at least give you a 1:1 or even 2:1 move before reversing. These days, if you're not taking something off the table, you often end up watching green turn into red.
So here's my advice:
- Focus only on your best setups.
- Don't get obsessed with huge R:R every time.
- Take realistic profits when the market offers them.
- Once price has moved enough in your favor, protect yourself—move your stop to breakeven.
- If price starts stalling or ranging near your target, don't be afraid to secure what the market has already given you.
Maybe I'm wrong. Maybe your experience is different.
But don't just dismiss this. Go back, review your last 50–100 trades, study the current market conditions, and see if you notice the same pattern.
At the end of the day, the goal isn't to prove your strategy is right—the goal is to stay consistently profitable.
If this gave you something to think about, share it with another trader.
And if you've noticed something different in the market, drop it in the comments. Let's learn from each other. 💡
