That's the part I keep testing in my head. A challenger has to spend gas, run infrastructure, and stay alert, purely to catch a claim that's probably legitimate. The payoff only shows up on the rare occasion someone tries to cheat. Most of the time, watching is unpaid work disguised as security.
The market may be pricing the challenge window as a guarantee rather than a probability, and that gap is where the real risk sits, not in the cryptography.
