One of the most interesting features I discovered while reading the Newton Mainnet Beta documentation is Newton Verifiable Credentials (Newton VC). As blockchain applications continue moving into finance, enterprise, and regulated industries, identity verification is becoming just as important as transaction security.

Instead of forcing developers to build separate KYC or identity verification systems, Newton allows verified identity information to become part of its policy engine. Developers can write policies that automatically evaluate factors such as age requirements, country restrictions, or approval status before authorizing transactions.

I think this creates a much cleaner development experience because identity verification is no longer isolated from application logic. Everything can be handled within the same policy framework, making authorization decisions more consistent and easier to maintain.

This approach also opens opportunities for decentralized applications that need compliance without sacrificing automation. Whether it's DeFi, enterprise blockchain, digital payments, or tokenized assets, integrating trusted credentials directly into policy evaluation could simplify many real-world workflows.

It's encouraging to see Newton focusing on practical infrastructure that developers will actually use when building production-ready applications.

Great work by @NewtonProtocol on continuing to expand the capabilities of Newton Mainnet Beta.
