This morning, after getting my girls ready for school.
I went inside my room to get ready so I can take them to school.
5mins later, I heard a bang on my door, A very serious bang.
This was My Pearl’s Exact words .
“ Mummy you are taking too much time, i dont want to be late To school, pls cut that call you are making and come and take us to school”
I said to her “Yes ma” I am coming out.🤣
The first thing that came to my mind was “ who dey give all this small children mind”
When i was 6 years old, i wouldn’t dare knock on my Dad’s door like that , but then that is what intentional parenting is.
You don’t raise kids that fear you, you raise kids that collaborate with you, so that when the chips are down,you will be the first person they willl run to.
I still discipline when need be, but if you become Nebuchadnezzar, one day, you will pay dearly for it.
