The #Shibainu dog that launched a thousand memes is about to get her own statue, and fans couldn't be more excited! Kabosu, the fur-tastic inspiration behind #Dogecoin and the "doge" meme, will soon have a permanent spot in Sakura, Japan.

The Birth of a Plan 🤝
Born out of the vision of an engaged NFT community, "Own The Doge," the statue aims to immortalize Kabosu's role in internet culture. Created in collaboration with the City of Sakura, the unveiling will take place on Nov 2, which is Kabosu's birthday!
In just 72 hours, a crowdfunding campaign pulled in over $42,000 in #cryptocurrency donations. While the value has dipped due to market volatility, the community's enthusiasm hasn't waned. They are steadfast in their mission to make the statue as grand as possible.
Beyond Earthly Boundaries 🌕
Ambitions are sky-high, literally! There's chatter about taking this initiative beyond our planet and placing a Doge statue on the moon one day.😂
One of the most commendable aspects of Own The Doge is its commitment to charity. The group has been the top #crypto giver to "Save The Children," staying true to the DOGE mantra of "Do Only Good Everyday."
What's Next? 📆
The community has plans to host interactive events around the statue. The goal is to turn the location into an epicenter for all things Doge, a place where the meme's fans can gather and celebrate Kabosu’s impact.
The “Bronze The Doge” campaign is still accepting donations via Dogecoin, #Ethereum , and other cryptocurrencies. Funds are securely held until the statue's construction.
So, ready to be a part of Doge history? Contribute now and cement Kabosu's legacy for generations to come!
