Chapter (2) - Hamster Coin or The First Step

When Aung Thuta told me about Hamster Kombat, curiosity made me join. "Brother, it's really popular," he said, teaching me how to play for the airdrop. A game where you make your hamster a crypto exchange CEO. "Earning money while playing" sounded fun.

We started playing on Telegram. Daily clicks, missions, leveling up. I remember one funny mission - a Daily Cipher with the code "GAY." I skipped it. Later Aung Thuta laughed, "Brother, it's short for 'Get Amazing Yield'!" Funny memories like that make crypto fun.

But the game got more complex. Referral missions came. Since I'm not social, I stopped doing them. Asking people to join was too hard for me.

Meanwhile, in our Messenger group, more people used SDB. Su Su kept saying, "Little brother, this SDB is a people's bank, trustworthy."

But I just kept clicking my hamster. My writer instincts said to be careful. A "bank" means depositing money. So I watched and waited.

Then I got involved in revolution activities. My family worried. "Son, stay at grandma's house," my mother said. They sensed danger.

At grandma's, I stayed six months helping with their business. From Android to keypad phone felt strange. I lost touch with crypto. Whenever I thought about my hamster, I felt sad.

Returning home, something unexpected happened - my SIM got blocked under Telecom Law 66(d). I lost my Hamster Kombat account completely. All those points, all those hopes... gone.

It felt like an artist losing his first painting.

Later I read Hamster Kombat became one of history's biggest Airdrops. But 2.3 million users like me got banned. Only 43% qualified.

That loss pushed me to finally try SDB. With Su Su's help, new SIM card, new email - SDB became my fresh start.

I'm grateful to Aung Thuta. Because of him, I started with that little hamster. And because of him, I learned to get up after loss.

Chapter (1) - What is Spring Development Bank (SDB)?

My name is Nyan Linn. I'm 27 and I live in Myanmar. I'm a writer with five years of experience writing poems, articles and short stories. But honestly, every time I heard the word "Crypto," my mind just went blank. I only knew that "Bitcoin is something you mine."
