$BTC at $86.4K: Don't Chase, Let the Liquidity Come to You
Market Breakdown:
Bitcoin is holding above $85K and consolidating near the top of the $84K-$87K range. The 4H structure is bullish, but RSI is around 69-70, so momentum is strong and getting extended. Funding is only mildly positive and long/short positioning is balanced, so there's no crowded-long extreme yet. Exchange outflows and whale accumulation support the higher-timeframe backdrop.
The trap: late longs are entering at $86.5K-$87K expecting an instant breakout. If BTC rejects $87K and sweeps down to $85K, those longs become fuel for the next move. The cleaner play is to buy the sweep and reclaim, not the breakout.

$BTC Trading Setup:
Direction: LONG (patient, confirmation only)
Entry Zone: $84,900 to $85,200
Trigger: wait for a sweep of $85K/$84.9K, then a 15m candle close back above $85,200. No blind limit orders.
Stop Loss (Hard): $84,500
Risk: 1-2% of account max, with modest leverage
Take Profit Targets:
TP1: $86,400 (scale out 50%, move SL to entry)
TP2: $87,250-$87,400 (scale out 30%)
TP3: $88,500-$89,000 (let the final 20% run, trail toward $90K)

Alternate scenario: if BTC breaks and holds above $87.4K, don't short it. Wait for a retest of $87.2K-$87.4K as support, targeting $88.5K, $89K, then $90K.
