La firma global de infraestructura de pagos transfronterizos, Nium, anunció de forma oficial la adquisición de Cypher, una startup especializada en emisión de tarjetas y billeteras cripto sin custodia.

Según reportó ChainCatcher, la operación estratégica busca fusionar las capacidades nativas en activos digitales de Cypher con la red internacional de Nium para perfeccionar y acelerar los servicios de pago tradicionales a entornos onchain.

Como parte de esta reestructuración, la plataforma actual de Cypher se eliminará gradualmente, afectando su app de consumo, tarjetas empresariales y el ecosistema CYPR.
