🚨 CRYPTO SECURITY ALERT

Threshold Network Pauses tBTC Operations After Linux Security Warning$BTC

Bitcoin bridge provider Threshold Network paused tBTC minting and redemptions while addressing a Linux kernel security vulnerability.$BTC

• Node operators patched affected servers or took nodes offline.
• The network reported approximately 4,320 BTC backing 4,185 tBTC.
$BTC • No unauthorized Bitcoin movement or minting was detected.
• The bridge remains paused, with no confirmed reopening time.

A separate operator incident involved about 0.5 ETH from a fee account, not the BTC reserves.

Security lesson: When a bridge pauses operations for security reasons, don't rush to move funds through unofficial links or replacement websites.

Would you keep using a bridge after a security pause like this?
