It also cites more than 100 apps and over 400,000 users. Yet it simultaneously says growth stagnated because DeFi remained restricted, liquidity was thin, institutional crossover was minimal, and operating the chain was unsustainable.

The decision comes as operating costs remain high, liquidity stays limited, the DeFi ecosystem remains restricted, and market demand weakens.

Igloo will now shift its focus back to Pudgy Penguins, Pudgy NFTs, and PENGU.

A tough ending for Abstract, but a clear signal that even well-funded projects eventually need sustainable economics.
