Gaps in the code: Bitcoin scripts can’t be hacked? Tell that to the auditors at CantinaXYZ, who found 4 critical vulnerabilities (high-severity) and 11 medium issues in Babylon’s code. The bugs were fixed, but the fact is scary: there were hard holes in code worth billions of dollars.

A gas trap: To get your BTC into blocks, the system’s under load forces you to set a wild gas premium—up to 20 sat/vB on a base of 2 sat/vB. A 10x markup just so the capital doesn’t get stuck in the mempool.
