KelpDAO ha puntato il dito contro LayerZero dopo un exploit importante del ponte rs$ETH del valore di circa $292M.
Secondo KelpDAO, l'attaccante ha drenato circa 116.500 rs$ETH ad aprile sfruttando una configurazione del ponte cross-chain legata a un setup di validatore compromesso 1:1—una configurazione che KelpDAO afferma fosse stata approvata dal personale di LayerZero.

In risposta, KelpDAO ha annunciato che sta migrando via da LayerZero e si sta spostando su Chainlink CCIP per le sue esigenze di messaggistica/ponte cross-chain, citando una spinta per una sicurezza più forte e controlli dei rischi in futuro.
