According to Jinshi, Barclays analysts said in a report that the latest UK CPI data showed that overall inflation in the UK was "no longer an outlier", with price increases cooling in October and almost on par with the US and the eurozone. However, the UK's core inflation rate is still higher than other countries, indicating severe domestic inflationary pressure. Barclays said: "From the perspective of production input prices in the food industry, there will be more inflation slowdown in the future, which will put pressure on core and overall inflation rates."
