Most people see multi asset restaking as a way to increase capital efficiency.

I see it as a validator coordination problem.
As more assets secure more services, the real question isn't how much security is being shared. It's whether coordination remains decentralized as complexity grows.
My structural test is simple:
When responsibilities increase do they spread across more validators or do they gradually concentrate around a small group of highly capable operators?

If complexity consistently pushes activity toward the same participants, a coordination concentration vector begins to emerge.

That's the hidden tradeoff behind multi-asset restaking.
The architecture optimizes for shared security and resource efficiency but it sacrifices simplicity. More interconnected systems create more dependencies, and dependencies become visible when assumptions break.
The long term challenge isn't attracting activity. It's ensuring that validator coordination remains genuinely distributed as the network scales.
In the end multi asset restaking looks less like a yield product and more like an experiment in how decentralized systems organize trust across increasingly connected environments.
