friend.tech’s forked version of Stars Arena launched on the Avalanche protocol and seems to have injected a burst of energy into Avalanche’s sluggish on-chain activity.

friend.tech forked version Stars Arena comes out

The social platform Stars Arena was launched on Avalanche (C-Chain) at the end of September. It has similar functions to friend.tech. Similar projects include:

  • Mantle:fan.tech

  • Base:friend.tech

  • Solana:Friends

  • Referee: post.tech

Users need to link their Twitter account to Stars Arena to start trading personal tokens on the platform.

Among them, although Stars Arena’s TVL is only $1.05 million, it has surpassed many opponents and is second only to friend.tech’s $45.27 million. Stars Arena’s high transaction volume has also attracted attention.

Avalanche founder Emin Gün Sirer is also involved.

Stars Arena drives Avalanche on-chain activity

According to DappRadar, various data of Stars Arena have grown significantly in the past seven days:

  • Daily active users: 15,000 (+742%)

  • Number of transactions: 673,900 (+995.88%)

  • Volume: $4.75 million (+2,597.82%)

In addition, the number of transactions on Avalanche's chain has doubled to 549,000 in the past three days, an increase of approximately 116%, and the Avalanche token AVAX has also increased by approximately 10%.

This phenomenon seems to slightly highlight the trend of protocols gradually dominating the public chain, but it also makes people worry that a protocol with a TVL of only US$1 million can double the number of transactions on the public chain.

According to DefiLlama, Trader Joe, the decentralized exchange with the highest TVL on Avalanche, has about 8,000 transactions. It can only be said that the on-chain activities of the public chain are even more sluggish in the bear market.
