Jupiter just cancelled its own airdrop — and $JUP is the one paying for it, down about 2.9% near $0.242 on $37M in volume.

The DAO voted roughly 75% in favour of the Net-Zero Emissions plan: the 700M-token Jupuary 2026 airdrop is postponed indefinitely, the tokens return to the community multisig, and new emissions pause. Tighter supply long-term, but the handout traders were waiting on is gone for now.

$BTC is steady nearby near $76,067, up 0.6%, so this is a $JUP story, not a market flush. The line I'm watching is $0.24, today's low — hold above it and the sell-off probably cools into the weekend; lose it and $0.22 is the next stop traders will eye. Is killing the airdrop smart supply discipline, or did the DAO just remove the main reason to hold?
