TAO Cooling Off Near $230: Is the Dip Setting Up Something?

Took a look at the TAO/USDT 4H chart this afternoon, and it’s an interesting spot to be in.

Bittensor is trading around $230.2, down 2.83% on the day, with a 24h range of $229.5 to $238.2. Price is sitting right at the bottom of that range, and 24h volume came in around 37.8K TAO (roughly $8.83M).

What the chart is showing:

The big move already happened. TAO pulled back hard from the $262.4 high, with one heavy red candle that came with a huge volume spike. The wick down to $220.2 shows buyers did step in at that level.
Consolidation followed. After the selloff, price chopped sideways between roughly $230 and $240 for a couple of days. That’s a pause, not a reversal.
Moving averages still lean bearish. Price is below the MA(7) at 232.9, the MA(25) at 237.3, and well under the MA(99) at 254.7. All three are sloping down.
Volume has dried up. Activity has dropped off sharply compared to the spike during the selloff, which usually means the market is waiting for its next catalyst.

What I’m watching:

The $220 to $230 zone is the key support area. If it holds, a bounce toward the MA(25) near $237 is possible. If it breaks, the earlier $220.2 low becomes the next level to defend. A confirmed move back above the MA(7) would be the first sign that momentum is shifting.

For now, patience makes more sense than forcing a trade. Let the chart show its hand first.
