Journalist Nick Sortor says he flew 22 hours to Alaska to confront a man he calls "Decoy Dan" — allegedly a fake candidate recruited to confuse voters in a Senate race — but found the suspect's home empty after a multi-day stakeout.

Sortor claims the individual fled town earlier this week after reports surfaced about the alleged election manipulation scheme. He says the man remained hidden at home throughout the rest of the election cycle.

Sortor is calling on the FBI and DOJ to investigate and prosecute what he describes as deliberate voter confusion tactics.
