Even Hackers from North Korea got humbled by Defi!
Paradoxically, hackers tried to offload the tokens worth roughly $5 million in value, $PROM .Apparently, hackers attempted to sell 908,793 $PROM valued at about $5 million.
They however, tumbled the tokens into an almost empty liquidity pool on Uniswap V2 and got back only $71 in ETH.
That's a great example of what can happen when liquidity dries up and slippage reaches its maximum level when a multimillion dollar position becomes virtually worthless.
While they may have been in possession of millions, DeFi had other plans.
