A major security incident recently occurred at Binance, but we want to warmly assure our community that the DeXe ecosystem remains entirely secure. We are stepping forward to provide complete clarity regarding the status of DEXE.

At exactly 20:24 UTC last night, a Binance hot wallet operating on the Ethereum network suffered a massive compromise. This event stands as one of the most significant exploits ever recorded in cryptocurrency history. We must emphasize that this breach was strictly isolated to Binance. The DeXe Protocol, all associated smart contracts, and our DAO treasuries experienced zero impact. In addition, the DEXE token contract itself was completely untouched by any exploit.

Regarding how our token was involved, the malicious actor managed to extract exactly 127,565 DEXE directly from the affected Binance hot wallet. During the early hours of this morning, the attacker proceeded to liquidate that entire stolen amount, exchanging the tokens for WETH via PancakeSwap v3 on the Ethereum blockchain. Meanwhile, Binance has publicly communicated that they will absorb all financial damages from this event and that customer assets are completely protected.

We urge our community to remain highly vigilant against fraudsters during this time. Please be aware that there are no current airdrops, compensation claims, or token migrations taking place. Any direct messages you receive offering these initiatives are guaranteed scams. If you require updates regarding your deposit and withdrawal capabilities, please consult only the official communication channels operated by Binance. For authentic and accurate news concerning DeXe, rely exclusively on our @DexeNetwork profile and our official Telegram group.

While the broader markets are certainly experiencing turbulence following this massive security failure, the DeXe platform is operating flawlessly. Our team remains focused, and we are continuing to build out our vision.
