$ETH ETFs just closed October with 11 straight days of outflows. That's the macro story nobody wants to read on a quiet Sunday.
Quick digest before November trading starts:
ETF flows (Farside / SoSoValue data via 24/7 Wall St):
• Spot $BTC ETFs saw a $643M net outflow on Oct 30, the largest single day since June. October finished roughly -$515M net.
• Ether ETFs bled about $1.6B in October, and net assets dropped from $17.7B to $13.2B.
• $SOL ETFs: -$143.7M for the month. XRP ETFs were the exception at +$18.8M.
Macro: Friday was risk-off across the board. Nasdaq -2.9%, gold -3.6%, while Brent crude settled near $117. Expensive energy plus falling equities is not a friendly mix for crypto liquidity.
October on Binance spot (Oct 1 open → Oct 31 close):
BTC -7.2% | ETH -16.0% | SOL -19.1% | XRP -16.0% | BNB -8.5% | HYPE -3.2% | STRK +2.5%
Right now things are calm: BTC $78,285 (+1.2% 24h), ETH $2,276 (+1.6%), BNB $715 (+2.0%).
My read: this weekend bounce comes right after institutional money walked out the door. If ETF flows don't flip green early this week, I'd treat rallies with caution. STRK and HYPE held up best, but both remain high-volatility names.
Are you watching flows or price this week?
Not financial advice.
