Chainalysis said attackers behind the $6.3 billion Binance breach are using laundering patterns the firm had never previously observed. Thousands of transactions in brief intervals suggest automated efforts to conceal the stolen funds. Elliptic reported that attackers converted approximately $786 million in stolen stablecoins into Ethereum and Tron before freezes took effect, sometimes accepting substantial losses. Elliptic also found 18,270 stolen BTC distributed among 19 addresses, with none reaching an identified exchange or other service as of October 30.
