Garlinghouse Says Ripple Will Never Give Up on XRP Some reassurances matter less for the words and more for what follows them. đ€ At Swell, Ripple CEO Brad Garlinghouse pushed back on the idea that Ripple has moved on from $XRP to focus on RLUSD. âWe will never give up on XRP,â he said, calling the two complementary rather than competing. He backed it with a list. Ripple is the largest XRP holder, the most active code contributor to the XRP Ledger, and an investor across the ecosystem that plans to keep investing aggressively. RLUSD is split roughly half on XRPL and half on Ethereum, with XRPLâs share growing much faster over the past year. The business side is booming too. đ Garlinghouse says Ripple ended last year at a revenue run rate of about $300 million and expects to finish this year near $900 million, across payments, Ripple Prime and Ripple Treasury, which now serves 1,000+ corporates. And hereâs the honest tension. Much of that growth comes from products that donât need XRP at all, which is exactly why the doubts keep coming back. For me, the proof wonât be in a speech, itâll be in how much of Rippleâs business moves onto the ledger and uses XRP. đĄ #Ripple #Altcoin Season#
