AIN longs now pay +0.149% every 4h, the highest settlement in its last 90, and price has printed a fresh high at 0.158 six hours after our 17:06 brief. HAEDAL is the opposite trade: funding sits at the bottom of its own range while open interest grew 56% in a day, so shorts are the crowd, and that makes it a squeeze candidate before it is a short.
Data: Binance USDT-M perpetuals, snapshot 2026-10-27 23:00 (Taipei, UTC+8), filtered to 24h quote volume of at least 20M USDT. All three settle funding every 4h. Funding percentile is against each coin's last 90 settlements. "OI (coin)" is open interest counted in tokens. Liquidation zones are rough estimates from common leverage (50x/20x/10x), not exchange data. MC/FDV and unlocks come from public trackers (CoinMarketCap, CoinGlass, DropsTab, Nox Terminal, PatternPlus, Messari, project docs), recomputed at the Binance last price where noted, and were not checked on-chain.

1) $AIN (AINUSDT): +194.7% | Last 0.15078 | 24h range 0.04236 – 0.1580 | 24h vol 551M USDT
Repeat from the 17:06 brief. What changed: price 0.1311 to 0.1508, new high 0.1580 (was 0.1468), funding +0.1038% to +0.1493%, OI (coin) 345.8M to 374.2M, top-trader L/S 1.63 to 1.56.
Market diagnosis
- Funding: +0.1493% per 4h, 99th percentile; it is the 90-period maximum (average +0.0178%). Last five settlements: 0.053%, 0.138%, 0.060%, 0.079%, 0.149%. Longs are paying more, not less, into the extension.
- OI (coin): 288.5M to 374.2M in 24h (+29.7%), +12.1% from 333.7M six hours ago. OI value 14.9M to 50.0M USDT.
- Positioning: top-trader long/short position ratio drifted from 1.63 to 1.52, last 1.56. Large accounts keep trimming. Only about 25% of all accounts are long, so retail is still short and the size is long. Taker buy/sell 0.97–1.13.
- Structure: 1h RSI 71.4 (off 81.8), 4h RSI 98.1. The 4h close sits 12.7% above the 4h upper Bollinger band. The 21:00 1h candle left a 49.8% upper wick at the 0.1580 high; the 19:00 candle a 65.6% wick. 1h bearish RSI divergence is flagged; the 1h MACD histogram has fallen from 0.0070 to 0.0028 while the 4h histogram is still expanding.
- MC/FDV: on CoinMarketCap's 318.96M circulating of 1B, MC is about 48M and FDV about 151M at 0.1508 (MC/FDV about 32%). CoinGecko's lower float figure (185.3M) would make it about 28M. Binance perp OI of 50M USDT is at or above market cap either way.
- 30-day unlocks: a self-reported linear schedule of about 17.74M AIN per month was cited by a third party earlier today. Not verified.
Short setup
- Stop first: SL on a 1h close above 0.1650.
- Resistance zone: 0.1560 – 0.1580. Estimated short liquidations above a 0.1508 entry: about 0.154 (50x), about 0.158 (20x), about 0.166 (10x). The 20x cluster sits right at the high, which is the obvious fuel for one more wick.
- Left-side entry: small size only, on a rejection wick inside 0.1560 – 0.1580.
- Right-side entry (preferred): a 1h close below 0.1337 (the 21:00 close), with OI (coin) rolling over from 374.2M.
- TP1: 0.1130 (the 22:00 1h low). TP2: 0.1013 (1h Bollinger midline).
- Sizing: risk 0.5–1% of the account. From 0.1508 the stop is about 9% away; from the right-side trigger it is about 23%, so size down accordingly.
Risk notes
From what I've seen, the hardest part of shorting a squeeze with record funding is that the record keeps getting broken. Funding now pays the short about 0.9% a day to wait, which is real carry, but it is not a timing signal. Let the 0.1337 break do the work.

2) $HAEDAL (HAEDALUSDT): +42.7% | Last 0.03016 | 24h range 0.02051 – 0.0316 | 24h vol 41.8M USDT
Market diagnosis
- Funding: -0.0271% per 4h, 0th percentile, the lowest of its last 90 settlements (average +0.0028%). Prior settlements were flat at about +0.005%. Shorts just started paying.
- OI (coin): 106.8M to 166.9M in 24h (+56.3%), +36.9% from 121.9M six hours ago. OI value 2.25M to 4.33M USDT. New positions are arriving, and funding says they lean short.
- Positioning: top-trader long/short position ratio fell from 1.65 to 1.33 over 6h, and long accounts slipped from 62.2% to 60.0%. Taker buy/sell 0.92–1.10, balanced.
- Structure: 1h RSI 92.4, 4h RSI 93.2. The 1h close is 11.3% above its upper Bollinger band; the 4h close is 16.4% above. The 21:00 1h candle left a 76.7% upper wick at 0.0291, then the 22:00 candle went straight through it to 0.0316. No divergence yet; MACD histograms on 1h and 4h are still accelerating.
- MC/FDV: 1B max supply. CoinMarketCap and CoinGlass list 541.66M circulating (MC about 16.3M, FDV about 30.2M at 0.03016, MC/FDV about 54%). DropsTab lists only 195M. The sources disagree.
- 30-day unlocks: a cliff on Oct 29, 2026, sized differently by tracker: 13.75M (Nox Terminal, about 7% of its circulating figure, mostly insiders) or 19.54M (DropsTab). Then 8M Team & Advisors on Nov 29, 2026. Not verified on-chain.
Short setup
- Stance: watch first. Bottom-of-range funding with OI up 56% is a crowded short, and shorting into it means providing the squeeze fuel.
- Stop first: SL on a 1h close above 0.0305 for a right-side entry (above 0.0316 high only if entering on a fresh rejection: then 0.0330).
- Resistance zone: 0.0291 – 0.0316.
- Left-side entry: none.
- Right-side entry only: a 1h close below 0.0280, with OI (coin) contracting from 166.9M and funding normalising toward zero.
- TP1: 0.0254 (the 22:00 1h low). TP2: 0.0230 (1h Bollinger midline).
- Sizing: 0.5% account risk. Stop distance from 0.0280 to 0.0305 is about 9%.
Risk notes
In my experience, when price and open interest rise together while funding turns negative, the next move is more often a squeeze than a fade. The Oct 29 unlock is the supply argument, and it lands within 48 hours, but the tape has to break first.

3) $EVAA (EVAAUSDT): +34.5% | Last 0.6983 | 24h range 0.5006 – 0.7413 | 24h vol 24.4M USDT
Market diagnosis
- Funding: +0.0345% per 4h, 98th percentile (average +0.0093%, max +0.0533%). Longs are paying.
- OI (coin): 6.62M to 8.02M in 24h (+21.3%), nearly all of it in the last 6h (6.54M to 8.02M, +22.8%). OI value 3.40M to 6.52M USDT.
- Positioning: 73.7% of all accounts are long (down from 78.6%), and the top-trader position ratio holds at 1.55–1.58. Both the crowd and the size are long. Taker buy/sell swung from 0.64 to 1.29, choppy.
- Structure: 1h RSI 88.8, 4h RSI 86.8 (from 54.7 one candle earlier). The 1h close is 8.4% above its upper band, the 4h 14.9% above. The 22:00 1h candle left a 34.7% upper wick at the 0.7413 high. This is a single two-hour vertical move out of a 0.51–0.54 range.
- MC/FDV: 6.62M circulating of 50M (PatternPlus, Coindar, Messari). At 0.6983, MC is about 4.6M and FDV about 34.9M, MC/FDV about 13%. Binance OI of 6.5M USDT is larger than the whole market cap.
- 30-day unlocks: the project states 0.79% of supply per month (about 395K EVAA, about 6% of float). PatternPlus shows no scheduled unlock on record. No specific date found; not verified.
Short setup
- Stop first: SL on a 1h close above 0.7700.
- Resistance zone: 0.7000 – 0.7413. Estimated short liquidations above a 0.6983 entry: about 0.712 (50x), about 0.733 (20x), about 0.768 (10x).
- Left-side entry: light size on a rejection wick inside 0.7000 – 0.7413.
- Right-side entry (preferred): a 1h close below 0.6100 (the 22:00 low), with OI (coin) falling back toward 6.5M.
- TP1: 0.5428 (top of the pre-breakout range). TP2: 0.5006 (24h low).
- Sizing: 0.5% account risk. The stop is about 10% from 0.6983 and about 26% from the right-side trigger, so size the right-side entry very small or wait for a retest.
Risk notes
From what I've seen, a 13% float with perp OI larger than market cap can be pushed around in either direction by a few accounts. 24h volume is just over the 20M filter, so slippage and wicks will be larger than on the other two.

Position discipline
- Funding and OI on their own have shown no statistical edge for shorts. They tell you how large the next move can be, not its direction. Wait for structure to break.
- Set the stop first and size from it. Never move a stop further away.
- A fade typically sees 3–5% drawdown before it works, so keep leverage low and scale in. Don't chase a short after OI has already flushed 8% or more.
- HAEDAL is a crowded short, not a crowded long. Treat it as a watchlist name until funding and OI turn.
- These are three separate theses. Don't run them at full size together.
This is not investment advice. Leverage can lose more than you plan for.
