Version 8.22 of FluxOS is now officially available. Just because a network node successfully replies to a ping does not necessarily mean it is fully healthy, as underlying issues could be hiding within the database or the host machine itself.
Thanks to this latest update, nodes actively monitor their own host systems and databases. When a node detects internal trouble or failing hardware, it will automatically step down rather than attempting to run your application on a compromised setup. Moreover, application ports are now verified using UDP, and single-writer applications transfer entirely intact during a handoff.
