Your stock dividends could soon buy Bitcoin — automatically.

Franklin Templeton — the roughly $1.7T asset manager — filed the final paperwork (Form 8-A) on October 22 to list two ETFs on Nasdaq that route stock dividends into Bitcoin exposure instead of reinvesting them into more shares.

The funds: the US Equity Bitcoin DRIP Index ETF (FBEQ, tracking 500 large-cap US stocks) and the US Innovation Bitcoin DRIP Index ETF (FIBT, 100 Nasdaq innovators). Both start at 95% stocks / 5% Bitcoin, and every dividend — regular or special — gets redirected into BTC the day after the ex-dividend date. Projected effective date: October 27.

The caveat: the funds never hold Bitcoin directly. Exposure comes via exchange-traded products like Franklin's own spot BTC ETF, and the index trims the BTC position back to 4.5% each quarter when it outruns. So this is dividend-powered BTC exposure, not a buy-and-hold Bitcoin stack.

Tape: $BTC $80,816 (-0.74%/24h), $ETH $2,377 (-0.52%/24h) — context only, no market move tied to this yet.
