On October 15, Grayscale launched a new Decentralized AI Fund on Republic — and out of every crypto in existence, it picked just four: NEAR, TAO, $RNDR, and FIL.

RENDER got a 21.59% weighting. That's serious validation for a token the market currently prices like a ghost — down roughly 86% from its March 2024 all-time high near $13.60.

And here's the twist: the network itself is doing fine. Render just crossed 82 million cumulative frames rendered (announced October 13), with AI workloads now 35–40% of network activity. The engine is running. The chart just doesn't believe it yet.

Today $RNDR trades around $1.80, and it's sitting on the line that decides everything: the $1.77 support zone.

Here's how to read it. If $1.77 holds and buyers reclaim the $1.94–$2.00 ceiling, the chart opens toward the $2.23 October high — and most analysts agree $2.55 is the level that confirms a real breakout. Lose $1.77, and the next stops are $1.68–$1.72, then $1.53.

Watch $TAO too. AI tokens move as a pack: when the sector leader rips, RNDR tends to follow as high-beta, and when it rolls over, RNDR leads the slide. Pull up the $RNDR chart and pin $1.77 and $2.00 — those two lines are the whole story right now.

The honest risk? Revenue. Q3 network fees fell 48.5% year-over-year, and roughly $2.7M in annual protocol revenue sits under a ~$930M market cap — that's a lot of faith priced in. And history is blunt: every RNDR event pump — GTC 2024, the Apple keynote bounce, Nvidia-earnings beta — faded within weeks as whales sold into the headline.

So yes: Grayscale's AI fund just blessed this token. But $BTC still sets the weather, and RNDR's recent moves have been BTC-sympathy, not Render-specific. The fund says the thesis is alive. The chart says: prove it.
