Utexo has opened Utexo Mint so professional operators can test USDT on Bitcoin before the public launch scheduled for November 28. Verified operators can use the platform's sandbox to test minting, confidential transfers and redemption through RGB. Utexo clarified that Utexo, not Tether, is launching USDT on Bitcoin. The initial rollout will provide access through partner wallets and exchanges. Utexo plans a second phase in Q1 2027 that will bring USDT to the Lightning Network for payments.
