#Zcash developers have confirmed a November activation date for the NU7 network upgrade.
The upgrade is planned for block 3,543,405, expected around November 5. NU7 will reduce block times from 75 seconds to 25 seconds, significantly speeding up transaction confirmations. It also includes changes to fee handling and the retirement of the original Sprout privacy system, so holders of remaining Sprout funds need to migrate before activation.
