Switzerland has approved its first spot Bitcoin ETF for retail investors.
The fund will hold $BTC directly, giving individuals regulated exposure through a normal brokerage account without managing private keys.
The product is called BBIT and is expected to begin trading on the SIX Swiss Exchange in November.
Switzerland already had Bitcoin ETPs, but this is its first Swiss-regulated ETF structure available to the general public.
Another major financial market is opening its doors to Bitcoin. 👀
