CAN YOU READ A CANDLESTICK CORRECTLY? š
Every standard candlestick is built from four values:
š¢ Open: where the period began
šŗ High: the highest traded price
š» Low: the lowest traded price
āŖ Close: where the period ended
The candle body represents the open-to-close relationship. The wicks show how far price travelled beyond the body during that timeframe.
But one candle is not a complete market explanation. Context matters: timeframe, surrounding candles, trading volume and the broader price structure can change how a chart should be interpreted.
Start with the data before reaching for a pattern name.
