Bitcoin faded slightly over the last 16 hours, slipping 0.2% to 81458.3โ€”barely moved, but confirming the soft spot flagged in the previous note. Four-hour momentum on RSI ticked up to 43.7 but is still weak; price sits under both the 20-period and 50-period moving averages. Trading at just 23% up from its twenty-day low, BTC remains pinned close to the bottom of its range, about 6.6% below the local high.

Ethereum gave up 1.2% over the same 16-hour stretch, underlining pressure with RSI falling to 41.3 from 44.7. Price sits at 2402.69, below both key moving averages, and less than 20% of the way up from the range low. The trend and momentum both point lower, and ETH is now 3.9% off the floor of its recent range. If upside momentum is going to reappear, reclaiming the 20-period mean at 2420.66 is the level to watch.
