#nil $NIL @Nillion : The Less-Known Side Of Blind Computation 🧐

When digging into Nillion I couldn’t help but keep coming back to one question:

How can we compute on sensitive data without revealing it?

There’ solved by Nillion. The concept of blind computation really excited me and made me think about future applications for Web3 and AI. 🔮

Blind computation allows someone to leverage cryptographic practices such as Multi-Party Computation (MPC) to process secured data, without any party having to see the entire secret.

I personally love the potential use cases for AI agents, private trading bots, and other applications that may want to interact with sensitive data. Instead of privacy or utility, why not figure out how we can have both?

That’s not to say that there will be no setbacks. Security, performance, and correct implementation will always be crucial to technology working properly IRL.

Nillion really got me thinking about how we should be able to utilize our data without necessarily exposing it.
