Russia Tightens Rules for Crypto P2P Transactions
Russia’s central bank says that from July 1, 2027, individual residents will no longer be allowed to conduct direct crypto peer-to-peer transactions unless a compliant financial intermediary is involved.
The measure is intended to bring more oversight to crypto activity, strengthen compliance controls, and reduce risks associated with unregulated transfers. Users conducting crypto transactions may need to rely on approved financial channels once the rules take effect.
BTC is currently trading at $82,284.01 on Binance Spot, up about 0.23% over the past 24 hours. Its 24-hour high is $82,634.30 and low is $79,800.00.
