To smoothly transition more than $3.45B of contracted customer AI infrastructure projects into active production, Axe Compute has officially teamed up with @WeAre_Penguin. Establishing a multi-year strategic partnership, this collaboration will directly support the build-to-order AI infrastructure program known as @AxeCompute Build.
The decision to join forces is backed by an impressive historical performance. To date, the partner has successfully deployed and managed 89,000+ GPUs, generating 33B+ hours of total GPU runtime. Their extensive background features a notable five-year relationship assisting Meta in operating 16,000 A100 GPUs for its Research SuperCluster. Additionally, they are responsible for constructing and currently running Haein for SK Telecom. Recognized as one of the largest sovereign AI clusters in Korea, Haein notably achieved production readiness within weeks of the physical hardware arriving.
Moving forward, the collaborating team will deliver comprehensive deployment and operational services. Their daily contributions will include implementing their proprietary ClusterWareAI software and providing 24x7 network operations center coverage spanning multiple Axe Compute sites. Through this arrangement, Axe firmly retains all assets, capital, and customer relationships.
