According to Jin10, Kingboard Laminates Holdings ([01888.HK](http://01888.HK)) fell sharply in late trading on October 14, at one point dropping more than 6% before closing down 5.23% at HK$42.36 per share. The company issued its latest price increase notice on October 13, raising sales prices by 15% for boards and PP products using 2116 and lower-grade thin cloth as raw materials, citing strong demand for thin cloth and tight supply of upstream glass cloth and glass yarn with sharply higher prices. Kingboard said the increase applies only to thin-cloth boards and PP products, while thick-cloth products are not included in the adjustment range. Kingboard also said thick-cloth products did not rise in price.
