🚨 MediaMarkt just pulled Ledger wallets from shelves across Europe following the hidden chip investigation
This comes after security researchers found undisclosed secure elements in Ledger devices. Other hardware wallet makers are now scrambling to address customer concerns.
If you're holding assets on Ledger:
• Check your firmware version
• Monitor official channels for updates
• Consider diversifying custody solutions
The hardware wallet space is getting messy. Trust is everything in self-custody, and when that breaks, retail loses confidence fast.
Watch how this plays out — could reshape the entire cold storage market.
