Bitcoin fell 2% over a 24-hour period on Monday to trade at a little over $82,423. Bitcoin has dropped 3% over the past week and is down so far this month. Analysts say signs of a potential bottom this October may already be emerging despite the weak start. XWIN said markets priced roughly an 18% chance of an October Federal Reserve rate increase on October 12. Other analysts say bitcoin has exited a bear market because bitcoin crossed its 365-day moving average.
