Yishi said the risk may lie between the secure chip and the display screen, rather than in the chip itself. Yishi said OneKey had received no reports of user fund losses caused by this incident as of October 10. OneKey plans to introduce a backup process that does not require displaying the recovery phrase on the device screen and prioritize stronger encryption of sensitive motherboard communications.
