Bitcoin Price Consolidates, Market Awaits FOMC Minutes.
Bitcoin (BTC) is still moving in consolidation amid the crypto market awaiting the release of the Federal Open Market Committee (FOMC) meeting minutes on Thursday (8/10) early morning.
On Wednesday (7/10) at 08:00 WIB, the Bitcoin price fell slightly by 0.29% to the level of $85,550. Meanwhile, Bitcoin dominance stood at 59.55% and the total market capitalization of crypto assets fell 0.40% to $2.89 trillion.
In the last 24 hours, Bitcoin moved volatilely in a consolidation phase within the range of $85,000ā$86,600. BTC had risen to $86,450 after positive sentiment emerged from the latest crypto regulation proposals submitted by the CFTC and SEC.
The CFTC proposal focuses on establishing a new federal exchange category to oversee margin or leveraged crypto trading nationally as well as security audit obligations.
