If you use the Ronin network, there’s an important Binance maintenance window to watch.
Binance announced support for the upcoming Ronin ($RON) network upgrade and hard fork scheduled for October 7.
According to Binance, deposits and withdrawals of tokens on the Ronin network will be suspended at approximately 15:00 UTC, with the network upgrade expected around 16:00 UTC.
This is a network-maintenance event — not automatically a signal that $RONIN is bullish or bearish.
The bigger point is what upgrades like this mean for blockchain infrastructure.
Networks have to evolve to improve performance, security, compatibility and the overall user experience. But whenever a major upgrade or hard fork happens, users should pay attention to exchange maintenance notices and avoid assuming that temporary deposit/withdrawal suspension means something is wrong with the asset.
