Zcash miner Fortitude Mining announced that it has signed a non-binding letter of intent with Bitmain, securing a priority allocation for Bitmain’s next-generation Zcash mining machines and planning to purchase up to $100 million worth of equipment. The miners have not yet been commercially released and are expected to begin shipping in Q2 2027, subject to final specifications, pricing and definitive purchase agreements. Meanwhile, parent company DCG increased Fortitude’s credit facility from $50 million to $70 million. Fortitude plans to draw $20 million this week, funded in ZEC, to cover a refundable deposit.
