Tesla just added another potentially life-saving safety feature
Tesla drivers in the U.S. now have Emergency Drive Away for dangerous situations at Superchargers
It lets you shift into Drive and escape even while the charging cable is still connected
To activate it:
Hold the brake → shift into Drive → confirm the emergency prompt → get out of there
Tesla warns that doing this WILL damage both the vehicle and the Supercharger, so it’s strictly for emergencies
But if someone is threatening your life, the car and charger can be replaced
