A class action lawsuit claims Target raised prices to cover import tariffs but has not committed to returning a $994 million tariff refund to shoppers. The lawsuit says Target received and announced the refund in August 2026, after the U.S. Supreme Court ruled the tariffs unlawful. Two shoppers filed the case on September 25, 2026, on behalf of U.S. consumers who bought tariff-surcharged products on or after February 1, 2025. No settlement has been reached.
