The more I understand what NØNOS is actually building, the more bullish I become on $NOX. What you’re looking at is more than a bunch of programs running in a terminal. NØNOS is showing that a fundamentally different approach to computing is possible. It can run familiar Linux software without actually being built on Linux or relying on a virtual machine. Think of it like this: Instead of giving every program the keys to the entire house, NØNOS gives each program only the keys it actually needs. The kernel acts as the security checkpoint/control point. Programs can do their job without automatically getting access to everything around them. What makes this demonstration interesting is that they aren't just talking about the concept, they're putting real software through it and showing the results. A different foundation for computing, built around isolation, privacy, control and verification from the ground up.
