Midnight Is Not Just A Privacy Feature For Cardano 🌙
This distinction gets lost surprisingly often.
NIGHT launched as a Cardano Native Asset, and Midnight has obvious lineage and ecosystem connections to $ADA .
But the network itself is positioned as its own Layer 1 and privacy layer for Web3, rather than simply being a private execution feature inside Cardano.
That changes how I look at the opportunity.
The goal is not to make one existing ecosystem slightly more private.
It is to give applications their own base layer for deciding what becomes public, private and verifiable.
That puts Midnight into a much broader conversation with networks such as $ZEC and other privacy infrastructure rather than reducing it to another Cardano product.
Cardano is part of the origin story.
The actual market Midnight is trying to serve is much larger than one ecosystem.
